Thappad, Four More Shots Please Actor Ankur Rathee Gets Engaged To The Love Of His Life; Share A Glimpse Of His Dreamy Proposal - PIC
Actor Ankur Rathee, who rose to fame with his performances in web shows and movies like Four More Shots Please!, Made In Heaven, Thappad and The Tashkent Files, has entered one of the most special phases of his life. He is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Anuja Joshi. Taking to his Instagram account, Ankur gave fans a sneak-peek into his proposal to Anuja and it's nothing short of a fairytale. Well, soon after Ankur shared the good news with all his followers, a lot of celebrities came forth to congratulate the actor on him on his special moment.

The picture shared by Ankur sees him going down on one knee to propose marriage to his ladylove. Anuja's expressions to the same are priceless. She is happy, excited and emotional. While Ankur looks dapper in a pastel pink suit, Ankita is oozing grace in a navy blue gown. One can't miss the romantically aesthetic set up in the background with flowers and mirrors around. His caption read, "19 July 2020," followed by a ring emoticon. His co-stars and buddies were quick to send in love. Sayani Gupta gushed, “Oh wow!! Absolutely amazing but not surprising at all! You both," while Maanvi Gagroo commented, “Omg congratulations you guys.”

Earlier, opening up on how he and Anuja made their long-distance relationship work, Ankur had written, "Distance makes the heart grow fonder, they say. Well, @anujabomajoshi and I have put that to the test many times in our relationship, including the 3 years we lived in different countries. While most of us tend to focus on the challenges of long-distance relationships, I also think it has its own perks."

The actor added, "When you can’t rely on your partner’s physical presence or touch to stay connected, you are forced to communicate better, listen intently, argue respectfully, value her time, or attune to his emotional needs. You learn to love through creative gestures and express passion through words. You cherish every bit of kindness. This quarantine has led Anuja and me down that path again and we are welcoming it. Date nights are inevitably different now, but we keep finding more creative and quirky ways to make it work."

Here's congratulating the lovely couple!
